Living Room Photo Frame — Support

Turn your Apple TV into a photo frame that plays your Apple Photos as a slideshow, with date and place captions, an optional music soundtrack, and clock and weather overlays.

Getting started

1. Open the app and allow access to your photos when prompted.
2. By default it shows your Favourites. To change the source, press the Menu button on the remote to open Settings → Photo source, and pick Favourites and/or albums.
3. Adjust timing, captions, display style, music, and filters from the same Settings screen.

Frequently asked

I don’t see any photos.

Make sure some photos are marked as Favourites in the Photos app, or choose an album in Settings → Photo source. Also confirm the app has photo access in Settings → Apps.

Music won’t play.

The music soundtrack requires an active Apple Music subscription. Choose a source under Settings → Choose music.

Weather isn’t showing.

Turn on Settings → Show weather and allow location access. A newly enabled device may take a little time before weather appears.
